We know our prefold nappies represent great value and quality. When buying modern nappies you want to make sure you have access to the best materials, and thats what we want too. Our prefolds are indian cotton, this is a lot more absorbent than some other prefolds. The twill weave means nappies will not lose their shape, and will withstand even industrial laundering. Plus, our prefolds are unbleached. Bleaching prefolds white actually lessens the absorbency, so our unbleached prefolds are the way to go for great performance.
These prefolds become softer and more absorbent with every wash. Full folding instructions included. You can either fold the nappy in three and use it to line a nappy cover (i.e. no pins needed). Or, you can fold it similar to a traditional cotton nappy and use pins to fasten. When changing, you will only need to change the nappy, the cover can wait until after 4-5 nappy changes.
We recommend using Motherease Rikki Covers with your prefolds.
Washing Guide
For best results wash your prefolds 4-5 times before first use. Nappy products can be machine washed in warm or hot water and tumble dried. Covers and nappies can be washed together. Bleaches are not recommended as they may damage fabrics. Line drying is recommended where possible. For more comprehensive washing information go to our Nappy Information Page
An extra tip...our prefolds are also wonderful burp cloths or bassinet mattress liners. They're soft and really absorbent.
