As used in Hutt Hospital and Wellington Hospital Neo-natal wards.
The Babysense II monitor has received accolades worldwide from people who have benefitted from its early warning system. For parents who need extra assurance that their baby is sleeping safely, the Babysense II is a passive breathing monitor which keeps sensing your baby's breathing rate as they sleep - so you can sleep well too.
How it works:
Two sensor pads are placed under the mattress and cover the total crib area. Or, if you are using a basinette, you can just use one of the sensor pads. This passive device does not pass any electrical current. It simply, passively, senses your baby's breathing motions.
The white operating panel is your indicator, and attaches to the side of your baby's bed. A green light on the panel lets you know everything is fine. Should your baby's breath rate drop below the safe level, or stop for over 14 seconds (possible signs of sleep apnea), you will be alerted to a loud audible alarm indicating that baby may need urgent attention. This respiratory monitor can be used until your baby is one year old.
Operates on regular AA household batteries - with a low battery indicator so you will know when they need to be changed. Batteries will last about 6 months.
The Babysense II Monitor comes with a 12 month warranty.
